Job Title: Electrician
Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 7:30am – 5:30pm
We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Electrician to join a respected and growing company based in Haverhill, Suffolk. This is a site-based role with 90% of your time spent in one location — ideal for someone looking to move away from long-distance travel.
About the Role
You’ll be working on large-scale, complex, bespoke systems (up to 4000 amps). Tasks will include:
- Fitting remote telemetry current monitoring
- Building cable assemblies, with and without technical drawings
- Assembling and wiring 230/415-volt switchgear panels
- Working with cable sizes ranging from 1.5mm to 400mm single core
- Performing crimping, termination, and testing
Requirements
- City & Guilds 17th Edition (preferred)
- High attention to detail and quality
- Confident working from wiring schematics and occasionally without drawings
- Strong understanding of electrical panel wiring and assembly
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
- Flexible, adaptable, and self-motivated
